Greetings

Hello, my name is Justin Simpson and I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Jacksonville, Florida. I consider it a great privilege to join people on their journey through life's trials and triumphs and I take this responsibility very seriously. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy to people ages six years old and older. I also provide consultation and training services around behavioral health, cognitive-behavioral treatment, hospital diversion, and other topics. Book

Those who are entrusted to provide mental health care take on a tremendous responsibility and this work can be very challenging. The complicated issues that individuals experiencing severe mental illness often present with are especially challenging, and typically require an intensive multimodal approach. This is why I wrote Multimodal Treatment of Acute Psychiatric Illness: A Guide for Hospital Diversion.

The model outlined in this book is comprehensive. If followed, it will help support clients on their road to recovery. When all spheres of a person’s life  become healthier, the occurrence and severity of acute symptom episodes will diminish.
